The Future of Virtual Reality

The future of virtual reality will get more physical. The HTC Vive includes two controllers which are armed with sensors that allow users to swing a virtual gold club or manipulate an illusory paintbrush. The systems like the HTC Vive or PlayStation VR are lack of sense of touch. Even though it looks like you are swinging a gold club but in reality you are still holding a video game controller. The next evolution of VR would let the users participate physically in the VR world. The users are not just sitting down but interact with the players in VR games. The VR will incorporate better touch controls will only the beginning. The future VR machines will refine the concepts of Sensorama, incorporating the sense of touch and smells. The future VR headset will include more than two senses where it could influence the users body temperature, feel, and smell. Last but not least, companies will hopefully release wireless VR devices excluding the cheaper, portable VR devices.
